Somerville to consider additional redevelopment areas

  BOROUGH OF SOMERVILLE   PUBLIC NOTICE BOROUGH OF SOMERVILLE PLANNING BOARD Please take notice that the Planning Board of the Borough of Somerville shall hold a public meeting at 7:00 P.M. on April 23, 2014 in the Borough Council Chambers, 24 South Bridge Street, Somerville, NJ. The meeting is with respect to a study to determine whether properties identified on the Tax Maps of the Borough of Somerville known as Block 115, Lots 6, 8, 17, 18, 19, 20, 20.01, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 32 and 32.01, and Hunterdon Street will qualify as a “non-condemnation” area in need of redevelopment according to the criteria set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-5, the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law. These properties represent either a proposed expansion of the existing West Main Street Redevelopment Area or possibly the creation of a new Redevelopment Area. At the public meeting, the Planning Board shall present the details of the study and hear all persons who are interested in or would be affected by the inclusion of Block 115, Lots 6, 8, 17, 18, 19, 20, 20.01, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 32 and 32.01, and Hunterdon Street into the proposed Redevelopment Area. A copy of a map showing the boundaries of the proposed Redevelopment Area (the Blocks and Lots and properties as noted above) is on file in the office of the Borough Clerk, 25 West End Avenue, Somerville, NJ, and is available for inspection Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Mount Holly Township Applies to Planning Board for Major Subdivision & Site Plan

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on April 7, 2014 at 7:00 p.m., the Planning Board of the Borough of Flemington will conduct a public hearing, as requested by the Council of the Borough of Flemington, to consider whether the following parcels of property (the “Study Area”) qualify as an area in need of redevelopment pursuant to the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-1, et seq. This hearing provides an opportunity for you to appear and be heard concerning the redevelopment designation of the Study Area.  The Planning Board’s role is limited to making a recommendation to the Council as to whether the Study Area qualifies as and should be designated as an area in need of redevelopment pursuant to the Redevelopment Law.  Please be advised that should the Planning Board determine to recommend to Council the redevelopment designation of the Study Area and the Council accepts such recommendation and thereafter designates the Study Area as an area in need of redevelopment, that such redevelopment designation shall establish a “Non-Condemnation Redevelopment Area” and such determination and designation shall NOT authorize the municipality to exercise the power of eminent domain to acquire any properties with the Study Area.

LEGAL NOTICE PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the undersigned has applied to the Planning Board of the Borough of Roselle for the relief described below in connection with a proposed multi-family residential development, containing a total of 932 residential units, and related site improvements and infrastructure, including a 24 acre publicly accessible park, two club houses, a pool and other recreational amenities, on premises located at 417 Raritan Road, in the Borough of Roselle and shown on the Tax Maps of the Borough of Roselle as Block 7505, Lot 30 (the “Premises”).   PLANNING BOARD OF THE  CITY OF BAYONNE  FIRST NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING March 21, 2014   PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. at the Dorothy E. Harrington Council Chamber at City Hall, 630 Avenue C, Bayonne, New Jersey 07002, the Planning Board of the City of Bayonne will hold a public hearing to investigate and determine whether the study area hereinafter described meets the criteria for an area in need of redevelopment pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-5 and consider a redevelopment plan for such area.
