Marlboro Township Zoning Board of Adjustment to Hear 3 Lot Subdivision

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 7:30 p.m., the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Township of Marlboro will hold a public hearing on the application of Sarai Management, LLC. The public hearing will be held at the Municipal Complex, 1979 Township Drive, Marlboro, New Jersey. The premises which are the subject of the application are located at 29 Wicker Place and Wicker Place, Marlboro, New Jersey. Said premises are known as Lots 1 and 2, Block 107. The application is for Preliminary and Final Major Subdivision and Use Variance approval to create three single family lots. Two new homes will be constructed and one lot will contain an existing single family home. Relief will be sought from the requirement of minimum lot area, lot frontage, lot frontage corner, lot width, width corner, lot depth, front yard, side yard setbacks and maximum density. Use (“D”) variance approval is required because the proposed development exceeds maximum permitted density. Sprung Planning Company Provides Testimony in Princeton

On February 26, Matt Sprung testified as a professional planner in a “C” Variance application before the Board of Adjustment in Princeton.  The case dealt with neighborhood preservation.  The Board of Adjustment membership consists of members from the former Borough and Township Boards that are now combined.  The Board’s vote was split along Township/Borough lines.

TAKE NOTICE THAT the Planning Board of the Town of Morristown, New Jersey, will hold a hearing on December 5, 2013, at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Room, Morristown Town Hall, 200 South Street, Morristown, New Jersey, to consider an application affecting the property whose street address is known as 185 Morris Street, Morristown, New Jersey and designated as Block 3701, Lot 11 on the Morristown Tax Map and the contiguous property known as 10 Ford Avenue, Morristown, New Jersey, Block 3701, Lot 10 on the Morristown Tax Map.

Both property owners (Leona and Mountain) seek approval of development projects pursuant to the Morristown Council’s redevelopment plan (pursuant to New Jersey Local Redevelopment & Housing Law (“LRHL”) – N.J.S.A. 40:12A-1 et seq. and the foregoing Resolutions) for the properties. Leona seeks preliminary and final site plan approval and minor subdivision approval to construct 37 units of Condominiums/Apartments/Townhomes pursuant to the Morristown Council’s redevelopment plan. Leona’s construction will take place in the RT-1 Zone and seeks approval for 75% impervious coverage, where only 40% impervious coverage is permitted in the RT-1 Zone. Leona and Mountain have entered into an Agreement to jointly construct certain infrastructure improvements and have the appropriate easements in place to facilitate same.
Applicant requests any other waivers or variances or such other relief as may be required by the Board or its professionals at the time of the hearing.
